first round of book covers. haven’t had enough time to think about colors yet, and i’ve only tried six fonts. but i think i’m going to stay with this concept. interworld’s one of those teen books that you read and you’re like ah man this is just awesome and i’m clearly still just a boy who dreams about awesome things like this. basically, this kid joey stumbles upon a parallel universe, which causes all sorts of mayhem - eventually landing him in interworld, the space inbetween all the parallel universes, where every version of him from each universe is gathering together to train for war. inter-dimensional war between magic and science. how effing cool is that?
in any case, that explains the presence of the mustache yet again. the joey copies were either really slight (different personality) to an entirely different race (even a robot joey. a robot joey!) and thus the cover. i kind of want to do one layer as that translucent embossed stuff, forgot what it was called… again. but if i saw this, i’d be like, shit, i wonder what this is all about.
